$700,000 To $800,000 Houses For Sale In Costa Mesa
Obviously, location, location,
location matters and is the driving force for all coastal communities. I have interviewed some of the longtime residents, some newer residents and some of the kids that are going to school and growing up right here.
It was interesting to talk to the old-timers. Some were upset with the population growth but happy about the real estate appreciation. You can't have fast appreciation without continued demand for housing and Costa Mesa has that. One longtime resident spoke about the planning of the neighborhoods. The city tried to protect the neighborhoods from traffic and noise pollution which has created a real community feel within the neighborhoods.
The younger residents are loving the hipster coffee shops and restaurants that have opened. The breweries were mentioned including the experimental beers and foods.
The kids were influenced by the surf and skate culture. But I must add that the kids have it good here. Music, art, sports and outdoor lifestyles are all present, the kids are lucky in Costa Mesa. Public skateparks, open space, parks and ball fields are all over the town. It seems like a great place to live and grow up.
